These terms apply when you use OfferPrep. By using the site you agree to them, so please read them. Our privacy notice explains how we use your data.
1. Who we are

2. Who can use the site
You must be 18 or over to use the site. By creating an account or setting a leaderboard name, you confirm that you are.
3. Your account
There are no accounts at the moment. Your progress is saved in your own browser, so it is lost if you clear your browser data or switch device.
- Give accurate details, keep your password safe and do not share your account.
- One account per person. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Every player has an automatic leaderboard name. If you choose to show your first name and last initial instead, it must be your own, must not be offensive and must not pretend to be anyone else, including us. Group names follow the same rules. We may reset a name, rename a group or remove a player from the leaderboards if these rules are broken, and anyone can report a name using the link at the bottom of every page.
4. Fair play
The leaderboards only work if everyone plays fairly. Do not use bots, scripts or other automation, exploit bugs, or use several accounts to inflate scores. We may remove scores, reset leaderboards, or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe break these rules.
5. What you type
- You keep ownership of what you type. You allow us to use it to run and improve the site, for example to mark your answers or fix a question you reported. If you use AI marking in Deal Tower or Case Room, your answer is sent to our AI provider to be marked.
- Do not type anything confidential. That includes your employer's or a client's material, and inside information about any listed company.
- Do not post anything unlawful, abusive or that infringes someone else's rights.
6. Practice content, not advice
Everything on OfferPrep is for interview practice and education. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal or careers advice, and you should not rely on it to make those decisions. Tax figures and rules, such as UK allowances, change regularly and may be out of date. We work hard to keep questions accurate, but mistakes can happen, and AI marking and feedback can be wrong. If you spot an error, please use the "Report a problem" button.
7. No affiliation
We mention real firms, tests and products, such as banks, consulting firms, trading firms and their online assessments, only to describe what candidates may face. OfferPrep is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. All trademarks belong to their owners. Sample companies in the games are fictional.
8. Our content
The games, questions, explanations and design belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial practice. Please do not copy, scrape, republish or sell them without our permission.
9. Availability and changes
The site is provided free of charge. We may change, add or remove features, and we cannot promise the site will always be available or free from errors. We will try to give notice of significant changes.
The site is free to use and may show adverts. Adverts are provided by third parties such as Google; we do not endorse the products or services they show.
10. Paid features
If we offer paid features, we will show you their price and any extra terms, including your cancellation rights, before you pay.
11. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, because the site is a free practice tool, we are not responsible for losses that arise from relying on its content, such as the outcome of an interview or an investment decision, or for business losses. Where we are responsible, our total liability to you is limited to £100.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell signed-in users on the site or by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
